The Ford Fusion saw a number of updates for 2010, and auto critics were impressed. Motor Trend named it the 2010 Car of the Year, and numerous test drivers agreed that the Fusion was a solid choice within the segment. When it was new, they liked the upscale materials, big trunk, comfortable and roomy seats and available Sync infotainment system.

The four-cylinder Fusion gets up to 22/31 mpg city/highway, which is about average for the class. Standard features include cruise control and a four-speaker stereo with auxiliary input. The Fusion’s standard safety features include six airbags, anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control. The 2010 Fusion offers some available safety features that were impressive for the class in 2010, including a blind spot monitoring system.
